Dear Friends, Alumni & Fans of the Anteater Band,

We sincerely appreciate your support of the Anteater Band and the student musicians who give their time and energy to cheer on UC Irvine Athletics. Your donations go directly toward instrument upkeep, supplement band uniform costs, and team meals, helping our students focus on performance and team spirit.

The band’s roots trace back to 1975-76, when UC Irvine students Scott Fier and Alan Niizawa created a permanent ensemble for basketball games, earning academic credit through the drama department with the support of sports information director Roy Englebrecht.

Thank you again for helping our students thrive both academically and musically while bringing excitement to UC Irvine games. Go 'Eaters!
