Thank you to everyone who supported our fall 2025 campaign!

January 23, 2026

Thank you to everyone who donated to HyperXite’s fall 2025 ZotFunder campaign! As a community, we raised $4,050 for our project, achieving 81% of our projected goal.

This campaign has given us the momentum we need to keep our timeline on track. Your generosity is helping us start the winter quarter off strong, granting us the resources necessary to take larger steps towards the development of our pod. The funds we raised, alongside our team’s current resources, allow us to make purchases necessary for early-stage fabrication and subsequent assembly.

  • $1,000 of the donations will go towards purchasing the epoxy and hardener needed to carry out our carbon fiber layout process
  • $1,250 will be dedicated to developing the track guideway and infrastructure for our levitation model
  • $1,600 will be used to purchase necessary hardware and fasteners across all subteams for subsystem integration
  • The remaining $200 will go towards purchasing sensors necessary to monitor all aspects of our pod, such as speed, temperature, and air pressure

Your support means the world to us, as each gift shows that you believe in HyperXite’s mission and success, allowing us to continue to design, innovate and build the next generation of sustainable transportation. Even more importantly, you are directly impacting the UC Irvine student engineering community, developing the engineers of the future.

Thank you for your belief in our team. Together, we will continue developing technology that can create a positive, real-world impact.

With sincere thanks,

HyperXite 11 Team

Your support is propelling HyperXite Forward!

December 01, 2025

Only 30 days left before the close of our campaign!

Thank you to everyone who has donated and shared our ZotFunder campaign! Your support has helped us reach a significant portion of the team's goal and allowed us to confidently begin securing essential components for this year's Hyperloop Pod.

Fundraising for student-led engineering projects is becoming increasingly challenging, so your contributions have made a real impact! With your help, our interdisciplinary team of 40 undergraduate engineers continue developing technical, professional, and collaborative skills that carry directly into industry and research.

As the holiday season approaches, and in honor of Giving Tuesday, we hope you’ll continue to share our project with others. Every contribution, no matter the size, directly supports students who are committed to building technology with real-world potential.

Thank you for supporting our work, our mission, and our effort to push the boundaries of engineering!
