We are expanding these efforts with UCI Health — Irvine, a new, state-of-the-art medical campus which will include a 144-bed general acute care hospital with an emergency department, the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and Ambulatory Care center and the Joe C. Wen & Family Center for Advanced Care. The medical complex will support the health system’s growing primary and specialty care network in coastal and south Orange County. As a result, community members will gain access to life-enhancing therapies, advanced innovations, leading experts and complex procedures only found at the world’s top research and academic health institutions — right in their own backyard.
